I’ll Make You a Deal: Small Business Saturday

I’ve never been one to stand in line on Black Friday. With my brand, I also thought it’d be nice to skip the Black Friday sale all-together and instead embrace Small Business Saturday wholly this year.

Small Business Saturday is a day to show support to those who put their soul into their work. The relationship between small, local business owners and their supporters (read: family) build communities with strength (and really great art parties  if I may say so myself). Thank you for continuing to shop with The Good Child. I am grateful to be a part of the Dallas-Fort Worth creative circle — and shipping worldwide.

Shop small and support indie this holiday season.

Shop Indie this Holiday Season!

This holiday season, remember to support indie brands and shop local/independent! Over the next couple of weeks, I will be adding a sale and a couple of other ways to save on The Good Child product.

There’s really nothing like an independently designed product that stands up to corporate premium goods and is just that much better for being handmade by a hard-working local. Thank you for continuing to support the brand over these last couple of years! Enjoy!

Feet First with Marcus Troy x Puma

This week’s Random Hero post featured some new kicks that I received in the mail courtesy of fashion icon Marcus Troy and the legendary sports brand Puma. You can still read up on the post, here, and see how I rocked the new red Clyde Suedes below (click image for the full post).

Oh. And, don’t forget to enter to win yourself a pair.

Good Hoody Returns!

Back in a new, heavier fabric (50/50 poly/cotton) and cozier than before – the Good Hoody returns for pre-sale only.

Each style has The Good Child woven logo on the wearer’s left chest as well as a customized main label. Get your orders in now and expect delivery within about two weeks of purchase.

Only 10 per color each season will be available.

Hometown Glory – 12/8

Dallas locals are pretty good about representing themselves and one another, making sure everyone deservedly gets their shining moment as well as highlighting the city’s talent in general. This December 8th will be no exception. and Centre present Hometown Glory. All featured talent is local and includes music by DJ Sober, -topic, Zhora, and Neo-Safari with clothing from Loyal KNG, yours truly – The Good Child, and Mid Point x Mentally Ill. Also on deck and performing live art will be Riley H0lloway, Joonbug of Fresh Kaufee, and Edward Ruiz.

The 18+ party will go down at Club Dada around 9pm on 12/8. Looks like it’s $5 for 21+ and $10 for the younger crowd.

Come out and enjoy the night and the chance to mingle with some of your favorite local creatives. You can RSVP on Facebook, here.

Damn Good Time – 11/17

This November 17th, gather up your friends and come out to Dallas’ Prophet Bar in Deep Ellum.

I have partnered up with some of Dallas’ most energetic and fun hip-hop artists for a Damn Good Time. Tony Q, Killa MC of the Brain Gang crew, and Plain Jane Francis are putting on a show and yours truly is hosting the entire night.

I will also have a table set up with merchandise, and as always, a few small freebies.

The show is all ages and only 10 bones to get in. If you’re on Facebook, RSVP here and let us know we can expect your support!
