Sneaks Up 5 – Goody Two Shoes

Yesterday, I attended and participated in my first Sneaks Up event – Sneaks Up 5 – in San Antonio. The event was popping with great designs in both sneakers and clothing. I ran into some amazing brands – old friends and new – like Loyal KNG, Grits, Fresh Kaufee, Nerdy Fresh, Pur3ly Root3d, Kaught Looking, Nice Kicks and more. See the whole thing below from my angle!

Goody Two Shoes

In 12 days, San Antonio will pop off its fifth Sneaks Up event. On April 17th, from 2-7pm, join us for FREE at the Backstage Live center.

Who is “us,” you ask? Well, me (The Good Child), Loyal KNG, Grits, and MANY more, as well as music performances and – duh – sneakers galore.

This will be the fourth major event for The Good Child brand and I’m so excited that I’ve made not one but TWO exclusive t-shirts for you to choose from at the event.

I present to you Goody Two Shoes:

(Option one: Classic Vans on aqua – my personal favorite for years)

(Option two: Air Jordan III Black Cement on teal – for all you sneakerheads)

Both t-shirts come on 100% fine jersey cotton made by American Apparel in the USA. The artwork was printed right here in the DFW – just like all of The Good Child styles. Stay fresh AND guilt-free!

These styles will be available first at Sneaks Up and any remaining inventory will go online April 19th. REMEMBER: no style is ever produced again outside of the original run – and these two runs will have only TWENTY-FIVE each!

Always Coming Up…NEXT!

Phew! It’s been a Good spring so far! Since February, I’ve been on my grind – producing a new style (or two) and attending some major events. Last week, I was at Style X – a fashion portion of SXSW. Before that, you probably caught me at the We Are 1976 No. ’76 shindig. Somewhere in between, I was also traveling and doing research for my day job (which was 100% as rad as The Good Child adventures). I have quite a lot of photos to share with you all, but first – here’s news on where I’ll be NEXT:

San Antonio’s Sneaks Up 5!

SA Sneaks Up 5 will be at the Backstage Live center in San Antonio on Sunday, April 17th from 2-7pm. I will be set up with the existing The Good Child merchandise as well as a new, special edition tee titled “Goody Two Shoes” (preview coming soon). Remember, these styles are only produced once — when they are sold out, they’re gone (and most mediums have left the shelf already)! The Good news? Look out for a summer series release coming this May or June, including some girls and big boy sizes!

After SA Sneaks Up 5 and the summer series release, you can find me at Kixpo 2011.

This August, Kixpo will be presented in none other than the new Cowboys Stadium! This is going to be GOOD. This is my first time working with the Deadstock crew and I’m pretty psyched to be a part of such a large, local, creative event. More details coming soon, but forecast looks as follows: sneakers, music, sneakers, t-shirts, and more sneakers.

These warm months ahead will be filled with so many fresh ideas and apparel that I can hardly think of anything else! I hope to see you out there and thank you for all the love so far.
